The driver in the white Honda was cut off by a dark SUV turning left on 17TH ST EAST and AVE K resulting in the crash. There were no oncoming vehicles heading westbound

This article says a single car crash. Then says the driver lost control and veered into oncoming lanes. It says there was a collision. If it was a single car crash, what did the car collide with? Did they roll? Hit a wall? A pole? What happened?

Hi Bob,
Unfortunately this fatal accident occurred behind my back yard, and it was a tragic scene to witness. The Honda collided head on to a light post, and the light post was knocked down by the impact. The Honda also collided with a tree on its side.
To the Melgar family, My thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. I think about Leonal everyday, and I always tell God to grant him external peace, rest, and happiness.

The driver was sober and was cut off by another driver turning left on 17th st east and Ave K. Both vehicles swerved in a serpent motion to avoid hitting each other. The driver in the white Honda lost control and went over the center median resulting in the crash. The other driver was in a dark suv and left the scene.

@Traffic Control…You do realize that the majority of all car accidents involve sober drivers?
