CASTAIC – A body was found Tuesday in Castaic, and the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department opened a death investigation.
The body was reportedly found on a trail near the entrance to the Castaic Lake Lagoon, south of Lake Hughes Road.
The person’s name, age and gender were not immediately released, nor did sheriff’s officials say whether foul play was suspected.
No further information on the incident was immediately available.
