Put more signals in on the hwy where there are more businesses or homes. There should be one at the McDonalds in Littlerock for sure.
Tim Scott says
Here’s some ‘information’ for officer Recalde: there is no safe way for pedestrians to get across 138.
Tom says
Sure there is. There is the one and only cross walk at the stop light next to the Farmers Market. Other than that your playing chicken with traffic. what they should do is re route the highway like they did in Hinkley and Boron for highway 58. Run a new 138 a along Cheese borrow or Mt Emma rd. it will kill the hand full business, but save lives, and cut down on vehicle accidents.
Tim Scott says
Since that crosswalk was a mile away and people walking at the edge of the blacktop get hit by cars too I counted it as “not safe.”
Those business owners would pitch an absolutely legendary fit, but I agree with you.
