BOSTON, MASS. – Afronia Michail of Palmdale has been named to the Dean’s List at the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, the university announced Tuesday. Michail is pursuing a Doctor of Pharmacy, and will graduate from the Boston, Massachusetts campus in 2022.
The Dean’s List recognizes those students with a full-time course load who have achieved a 3.5 GPA or higher for the academic term.
The mission of MCPHS University is to prepare graduates to advance health and serve communities worldwide through excellence, innovation, and collaboration in teaching, practice, scholarship, and research.
Founded in 1823, MCPHS University is the oldest institution of higher education in the City of Boston. In addition to the original Boston campus, the University has campuses in Worcester, Massachusetts, and Manchester, New Hampshire, as well as online learning options.
The University currently offers more than 100 baccalaureate, masters, and doctoral degree programs and certificates covering a variety of health-related fields and professions.

Good for her! I hope she can come back to the local community and give back by being an engaged, employed contributing member of our community.
Side note: We really need a larger local branch of Cal State University, Cal Poly or University of California here. It would help the area with talent retention and infusion of talented workers into the community. Our population in the Antelope Valley is almost half a million now, and there is justification for a large public university here.
