PALMDALE – The city of Palmdale, Los Angeles County Fire Department, Palmdale Sheriff’s Station, Community Emergency Response Team, and other community partners will host an in-person disaster preparedness presentation on Tuesday, Jan. 24.
The multi-agency training session starts at 6 p.m. at Legacy Commons, located at 930 East Avenue Q-9 in Palmdale. The presentation will offer suggestions on how to properly prepare for various disaster situations, including earthquakes, flooding, and wildfire.

Additional presentations with Palmdale’s Public Safety Department are available on Thursday, Jan. 19, at 8:30 a.m. at Legacy Commons, and on Thursday, Jan. 26, at 1 p.m. at Legacy Commons. All presentations are free and open to the public and will provide information and resources on easy and cost-effective ways to prepare for a disaster.
