LANCASTER – A firefighter was injured early Saturday morning while battling a fire that demolished a home in Lancaster, authorities said.
Firefighters were dispatched around 12:31 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 18, to 44245 Calston Avenue, and they had the blaze out by 12:59 a.m., according to a Los Angeles County Fire Department dispatcher.
Paramedics rushed an injured firefighter to the hospital, and his condition was not immediately known, the dispatcher said.
Four people were temporarily displaced as a result of the fire.
The cause of the fire and damage estimates are still under investigation, and no further information on the incident was immediately available.
