LANCASTER – The Los Angeles Department of Medical Examiner has identified a 37-year-old motorcyclist who was shot to death in a suspected road rage incident July 4 in Lancaster.
The victim was identified as Henry Gonzalez, according to the agency, which had no city of residency for the decedent.
The shooting on the northbound Antelope Valley (14) Freeway at the Avenue L off-ramp was reported at 2:57 p.m. Tuesday, July 4, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officers initially responded to what was reported as a traffic collision and discovered Gonzalez had been shot. He died at the scene. No suspect information was immediately available and no arrests have been made. No further information was immediately available.
