LANCASTER – A 73-year-old female passenger killed Sunday morning in a two-vehicle crash at a Lancaster intersection has been identified, authorities said.
She was Gloria Ann Connors, according to the Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office.
The fatal crash occurred around 6:25 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 8, near the intersection of 10th Street West and Avenue L, according to a news release from the Lancaster Sheriff’s Station.
A jeep was traveling eastbound on Avenue L when it crashed into a Chevrolet sedan that was traveling south on 10th Street West. Connors, who was a passenger in the Chevrolet sedan, was pronounced dead at the scene by responding Fire Department and Paramedics, according to the news release. No other injuries were reported.
“The cause of the crash is still being investigated. Alcohol or drugs do not appear to be factor,” the news release states.
