LLANO – A suspect has been identified in the death of a man found Wednesday night in a burned vehicle in the Antelope Valley community of Llano, authorities said.
Palmdale Sheriff’s Station deputies responded around 10:45 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 18, to a report regarding a vehicle fire on the 33000 block of Largo Vista Road, near Avenue X-8, according to the Sheriff’s Information Bureau.
Deputies arrived at the location and contacted Los Angeles County Fire Department, which extinguished the vehicle fire. Firefighters discovered a man inside the vehicle suffering from severe burns. He was pronounced dead at the scene by Los Angeles County Fire Department firefighters, the Sheriff’s Information Bureau reported. His name has not yet been release pending next of kin notification.
Homicide investigators arrived on scene and assumed the investigation. They discovered the incident had stemmed from a domestic dispute and identified a homicide suspect, whose name was not revealed. The suspect may have fled to the Rosamond area in Kern County, authorities said.
