LANCASTER – The man killed in a crash Friday night involving a big rig on Pearblossom (138) Highway in Littlerock has been publicly identified.
He was 20-year-old Vincent De La Cruz, according to the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s office.
The crash occurred around 8:55 p.m. Friday, Nov.3, on state Route 138 east of 250th Street West, the California Highway Patrol reported.
De La Cruz was behind the wheel of a Honda Civic 2018 that was going eastbound on SR 138 when the car drifted across the center yellow lines into the path of a 2023 Kenworth T680, the CHP said. De La Cruz was ejected from the car and died at the scene.
