PALMDALE – Firefighters discovered a body Sunday evening when they put out flames in a camper on a pickup truck parked in a commercial area of Palmdale, authorities said.
The fire was reported about 6:30 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 26, in the 40000 block of 10th Street West, according to Los Angeles County Fire Department Dispatch Supervisor Jeremy Stafford.
Sheriff’s homicide detectives were summoned to the scene to investigate, according to the Sheriff’s Information Bureau. The individuals identity has not yet been released pending next of kin notification, according to the Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office.
No further information on the incident was immediately released.
