Man killed in Lancaster shooting

LANCASTER – A man was shot to death early Monday morning in Lancaster, authorities said.

The shooting was reported around 12:16 a.m. Monday, Nov. 27, in the 43900 block of Delgado Court, according to a news release from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.

“When deputies arrived, they found the victim, a Black male, 20-25 years of age, suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the lower torso. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene,” the sheriff’s news release states.

His name has not yet been released pending next of kin notification, according to the Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office.

No information was available about suspects or a possible motive. No further information was immediately released by the sheriff’s department.

    • 10th street west and I after dark on Fridays and Saturdays would make a great show. Camera man would just need some good body armor.

    The shootings and stabbings up here, and throughout the county, are out of control.

    • Don’t say nice neighborhood, it triggers timmy here. But yet he likes to put down people that live in Lake LA.

      • Not “people that live in Lake LA,” just you. I know plenty of people in Lake LA, and Littlerock, and we all get along fine. Unlike you, they don’t put on airs of being magnates waiting for their episode to come up on Cribs, they know they are ‘just folks,’ like me.
