PALMDALE – Two women and a girl were arrested Sunday afternoon after attempting to steal merchandise from a Palmdale supermarket and using a TASER to try to stop a security guard, authorities said.
The attempted robbery occurred around 3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 26, at the Vallarta Supermarket at 440 E. Palmdale Boulevard, according to Lt. Steve Sgrignoli of the Palmdale Sheriff’s Station.
The suspects struggled with the security guard over property they wanted to take and used a TASER on the guard but ultimately left the property behind when they left the scene, Sgrignoli said.
Deputies tracked the suspects to a residence where they were arrested, he said. The suspects names were not immediately released.
