ANTELOPE VALLEY – A man was killed in a two-vehicle collision early Tuesday morning on the Pearblossom Highway (state Route 138) in the Antelope Valley near Llano.
The crash was reported around 1:07 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 28, and officers from the California Highway Patrol were called to the highway and 185th Street East, where they found the victim trapped in one of the vehicles and debris strewn across the roadway, CHP Officer Sean Lough told City News Service.
One vehicle flipped on its side and another vehicle, a sedan, was found off the highway in the bushes.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene by Los Angeles County Fire Department paramedics. His name has not yet been released pending next of kin notification, according to the Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office.
No further information on the incident was immediately available.
