LOS ANGELES – A man driving an allegedly stolen pickup truck was arrested Wednesday, Nov. 29, after a police pursuit that began in Los Angeles and ended in the Antelope Valley.
Officers first spotted a grand theft auto robbery around 6:20 a.m. in the 8500 block of Foothill Boulevard, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
They began pursuing a white Ford pickup truck, and the chase eventually went into the Palmdale area and then into a residential neighborhood in Lancaster.
The pursuit ended around 8:46 a.m. at 40th Street West and Avenue J in Lancaster, where the suspect was taken into custody by a Los Angeles County sheriff’s deputy.
