LANCASTER – A man died Friday afternoon in a single-vehicle rollover crash in Lancaster, authorities said.
The crash was reported around 12:45 p.m. Friday, Dec. 15, at 20th Street East and Avenue H, according to a news release from the Lancaster Sheriff’s Station.
“Preliminary investigation indicates a male adult in a white pickup truck was traveling eastbound on Avenue H. The vehicle lost control south of Avenue H, on the dirt field and rolled over while ejecting the driver. The driver was transported to the Antelope Valley Hospital where he was pronounced deceased,” the news release states.
The driver’s name has not yet been released pending next of kin notification, according to the Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office.
“The cause of the crash is still being investigated. It is unknown if alcohol/drugs played a factor in this crash,” the sheriff’s news release states.
