Applicants must be registered voters and reside within the boundaries of Division 3, which is roughly between Avenue S to the north, Pearblossom Highway to the south, 70th Street to the east and 25th Street to the west.
To be considered for the Division 3 Director position, applicants must complete and submit a questionnaire on or before Feb. 4, 2024. The questionnaire and a map of Division 3 are available online at https://www.palmdalewater.org/governance/board-of-directors. The documents are also posted at PWD’s main office at 2029 East Avenue Q; at the Palmdale City Library at 700 East Palmdale Blvd.; and at Legacy Commons for Active Seniors at 930 East Avenue Q-9.
Division 3 was previously served by former Director Gloria Dizmang, who resigned due to health issues. The seat has been vacant since Jan. 1. The appointee will serve until December 2024, the remainder of the vacated term. The seat will be up for election in November.
