PALMDALE – A person’s body was found early Saturday morning after a vehicle fire was extinguished in Palmdale, authorities said.
Deputies were dispatched at approximately 2:20 a.m. Saturday, Jan 13, to a vehicle fire in the 37800 block of Robina Avenue, according to a news release from the Sheriff’s Information Bureau.
“Los Angeles County Fire Department personnel responded and extinguished the fire. A person was observed inside the vehicle and was subsequently pronounced deceased by Los Angeles County Fire Department paramedics,” the sheriff’s news release states.
The victim’s gender and age were not immediately available. Arson investigators are conducting a fire investigation, while homicide investigators are conducting a death investigation. No further information on the incident was immediately available.
