PALMDALE – Two people were arrested on suspicion of selling alcohol without a permit and maintaining a club without a permit during a sting operation this past weekend aimed at shutting down illegal concerts and events in Palmdale, authorities said.
The operation began at 6 p.m. Friday, Feb. 2, and ended at 2 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 3, in a collaborative effort among the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, the California Highway Patrol and the California Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control, sheriff’s officials said.
“On the evening in question, plainclothes investigators successfully infiltrated a major illegal event around 9 p.m., gathering crucial evidence of violations,” the LASD said in a statement. Official did not release the location of the alleged illegal activity.
“The operation was initiated in response to numerous community complaints about illegal concerts and events. These events, promoted through social media, raised concerns over public safety and order,” according to the LASD statement. Officials said approximately 150 people attended the event, which featured live bands, armed security and multiple vendors.

They do this all the time and specially during the summer they create traffic slow downs because of all of the people attending these ridiculous concerts. I have seen them on 145th street east between Palmdale blvd and 170th street east but I am not sure if this is the spot they are talking about on this report.
