Many People Are Forced To Walk Or Ride Bicycles Because Gas Is So Much And Food Is Way Past Expensive..
As A Walking Pedestrian I Walk In The Road At Times because The Sides Sometimes Have Holes or Overgrowth Where Snakes Other Animals Especially Ticks Are Also Sometimes The Ditches Are Awkward To Walk Through Or Just Bulky Trash In The Way
PS I Love The Way CalTrans Or Other Companies Who Maintain These Roadways Waste Time In One Spot Maintaining There Cell Phones Or Taking A Nap In The Truck While The Other Half Workers Trying Do The Jobs But Need More Than 1 Set Of Hands..
BTW Please Clean Up The Desert Areas Along The Schools For Safety Reasons Especially Since School Back In Session & Many Children & Families Are Walking
Thank You

I live nearby on Angeles Forest Hwy. There was no need for anyone to be in the roadway as there was plenty of room to walk on the shoulder. The truck he was driving pulled over to the shoulder. No idea how he was struck by a vehicle at that location but there was another vehicle also pulled over.

I see a lot of pedestrians with their heads buried in their phones and not paying attention.

It’s more like walking along the freeway with your head up your arse.
